I love RockNRoll. It’s as simple as that.

My name is Michelle Lawlor and I was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey.

I believe watching someone play their instrument with all of their heart and soul is one of the most beautiful forms of human expression, and is worthy of being documented. Honesty doesn’t exist in many places in today’s world, but I find it between fretboards, kick drums, and knotted-up cables.

This blog originally began as a way for me to share my music imagery with the world. It has since expanded to include all sorts of other fun things that I’m photographing, which, in addition to music performances, now includes weddings, parties, and events. I like to think I bring a little bit of the rocknroll spirit to my photos – no matter the scenario. I truly enjoy making my clients feel like rockstars, no matter the type of event.

With regard to music and editorial photography, I am currently shooting for The Trentonian, LoudEnuff.com, TheRockNRollPictureShow.com (my music photoblog!), and am a regional correspondent (Philadelphia Area) for SPIN.com. For bands: I’m available for travel and touring, live shows, and portraits. If you like my work, get in touch! For everyone else – have camera, will travel.
